Need some help?

Q. Why do I have to register my UDID to be allowed to install iOS Beta Releases?

A. Every year, Apple releases beta software for developers to test the new version of iOS. We have found that people other than developers would like access to the firmware but don't want to pay the $99 developer registration fee. That's where we come in. We have paid the fees, we update you on new releases. And we let you know how to install the firmware. We do all this for a one-time fee of $8. That includes access to our safe, secure, and fast downloads area. Register your UDID with iOS Beta.

Q. How long does it take for my UDID to be registered after I've paid?

A. It typically doesn't take any longer than a few minutes but can take up to 24 hours. You will receive an email for your receipt.

If you waited the 24 hours and have yet to receive your confirmation email, check your spam folder and contact us.

Q. Do I have to use a Mac to install iOS 8 beta?

A. No, you may install iOS 8 beta using a Mac or a Windows PC.

Q. I have another iOS device that I'd like to install iOS 8 beta on. Do I have to register that device too?

A. Yes, each device you use has a unique UDID. Therefore, you must pay to register each iOS device.

Q. I sold my iOS device and got a new one, can you change the UDID for me?

A. Unfortunately Apple does't allow us to edit, remove, or replace a UDID from our iOS Developer account, thus we cannot register the new UDID for free. Therefore you will need to re-purchase what you want for this new iOS device. If you purchase from us, it is for 1 developer spot, no matter the circumstances.

Q. I got my iPhone replaced by Apple, can you change the UDID for me?

Q. What steps should I take to install iOS 8 beta?

A. 1. Register your UDID with iOS Beta.

2. Backup your device first with the current and stable public release of iTunes.

3. Download the latest iTunes Beta (if their is one available): https://www.iosbeta.co/#ios-betas. (Currently there is no iTunes Beta, please use iTunes 11.0.4).

4. Backup your device again using the latest iTunes beta (This is just to be on the safe side). (Currently there is no iTunes Beta, please use iTunes 11.0.4).

5. Download the latest iOS Beta for your device: https://www.iosbeta.co/#ios-betas

Note: GSM = Every carrier except Verizon & Sprint. CDMA = Verizon & Sprint.

6. Upgrade to iOS 8 beta from the latest iTunes beta using the "Restore" option and not "Update".

For Mac: Hold down the "Alt/Option" key on a Mac and hit "Restore".

For Windows: Hold down the "Shift" key on a PC and hit "Restore".

7. Select the .ipsw file you downloaded in Step 5.

8. When prompted, select your most recent backup to get all your apps and settings back.

9. Enjoy!

Q. What do i do if I'm getting the error "This device is not registered as part of the iPhone Developer Program"?

A. 1. Register your UDID with iOS Beta.

Q. Can installing iOS 8 beta brick my Device?

A. If you follow our simple instructions, you won't have any troubles. We are not responsible for lost data or damage that occurs due to beta firmware installation.

Q. How will I be notified about beta updates?

A. Once we are notified by Apple of an update to iOS 8 beta, it will be posted on our Twitter, Facebook & Google+.

Q. How do I install beta updates?

A. Beta updates can come via OTA(Over The Air updates). If there is OTA updates then go to Settings - General - Software Update. From there click Download & Install and you should be all set.

If a Beta update is not available via OTA then you need to follow the same installation instructions we gave you for installing the first beta.

Q. What do i do if I'm getting the error "Device Isn't Eligible for Requested Build"?

A. Solution to the error "Device Isn't Eligible for Requested Build" click here or click here for the solution.

Your Mac/PC is configured to connect to Saurik's Cydia SHSH server and this must be reverted.

Q. What do i do if I'm getting the error "firmware file is not compatible"?

A. This means you downloaded the wrong file for your device, revisit the downloads page and dowload the correct file. If you are unsure which file to dowload click here.

Q. Can I revert back (downgrade) to the latest iOS 6 once I install iOS 8?

A. Yes you can, click here for instructions.

Q. Should I be worried that my iOS device will be disabled by Apple?

A. No, it is common belief that if Apple were to disable our developer accounts, your iOS device will become unusable. This is far from the truth. When Apple disables an account, it just makes it so we cannot access the account anymore. If your UDID is registered, you have nothing to worry about. Also, if your iOS device does become unusable, the most likely reason is that your beta firmware expired. To fix this, simply update to the latest iOS beta firmware.

Q. Can I register my UDID in multiple Developer Accounts?

A. Yes, having your UDID registered in multiple accounts does not effect anything.

Q. How do i fix error 3002?

2. Select the .ipsw file you downloaded in Step 5.

3. When prompted, select your most recent backup to get all your apps and settings back.

4. Enjoy!

Q. How do i fix error 3194?

A. Step 1: Download iREB.

Step 2: Close iTunes.

Step 3: Connect Device with computer.

Step 4: Run iREB.

Step 5: Select your device on the screen of iREB UI and do as the instructions.

Step 6: When you get into DFU mode, the screen should be black or else you are in recovery mode.

Step 7: Run iTunes to restore iOS 8 beta firmware.

Or, if that doesn't work click here.
